Bike re-do
In compliance with the Chloe Bike Buying Ban, I habve undertaken a project to refurbish one of my bikes so that I have a decent commute bike. Currently my beloved Pinsello is in bad shape: one of the crank arms periodically falls off, despite it being replaced recently. This implied a problem with the bottom bracket which I really don't want to get into. Then there is the fact that both shifters have stopped working, making the hill by our house a bit painful. Finally, I can't get wide tires into the frame, so it is dangerous in the rain, snow and ice. So: refurbish my old KHS! This is basically a brake upgrade, rattle can repaint and a few other things. Behold

The mini-V's work great. The next thing to do is replace the quill stem so I can put some decent bars on the bike, then a new seatpost.
